Add ResumeQuick to ChatGPT as an app and ask about your real resumes, tracked jobs and job radar matches in any chat.
Connect in ChatGPT on the web
Custom apps are added on chatgpt.com, on a paid plan, with developer mode on.

Turn on developer mode
In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and switch on Developer mode (under Security and login). On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow it first.

Create the app
Open the apps section, press the plus button to create an app, give it a name such as ResumeQuick, and under Connection choose a public endpoint with this URL.

Sign in and allow access
Pick OAuth for authentication. If ChatGPT asks how to register the client, choose Client ID Metadata Document. A ResumeQuick page opens: sign in, or create a free account on the spot, and press Allow.

Ask
In a new chat, turn the ResumeQuick app on and ask anything that needs your job-search data, for example: "What did my job radar find this week? Which match should I apply to first?"
Good to know about ChatGPT
- Developer mode is available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans, set up on the web. The Free plan cannot add custom apps.
- ChatGPT asks you to confirm every action that changes your data. Tools that only read are marked as such and run without a prompt.
- There is no API-key option in ChatGPT: it connects only through sign-in.
- After we add or change tools, press Refresh on the app in ChatGPT to load the new list.
- Deep research does not use ResumeQuick; ordinary chats do.

Troubleshooting
It is on paid plans only, on chatgpt.com, under Settings → Security and login. On a work or school workspace the admin may have turned it off; ask them, or use a personal account.
Check that the URL is exactly https://mcp.resumequick.app/mcp, that you chose OAuth and the Client ID Metadata Document option, and that you pressed Allow on the ResumeQuick page. Then delete the app and create it again.
Turn the app on for that chat, or mention it by name in your request, for example "Use ResumeQuick to read my resume".
Open Settings → Extension & Claude in ResumeQuick and press Disconnect next to ChatGPT under Connected apps. You can also delete the app in ChatGPT.
