Connect your client
Clients that support MCP sign-in need only the URL: they open a ResumeQuick page, you sign in and press Allow. No keys to copy.

Any client that speaks remote MCP over streamable HTTP takes the same URL. If it supports MCP sign-in, it opens the ResumeQuick page. If it does not, create a personal API key in Settings → Extension & Claude and send it as Authorization: Bearer rq_live_….

Data and security
- Every tool works on the account you signed in with. No tool takes another person's id.
- You sign in and allow access on resumequick.app yourself. The client never sees your password.
- Tokens and keys travel only in the Authorization header over HTTPS, never in a URL.
- Disconnect a client or revoke a key in Settings and it stops working within seconds.
- Deleting is two steps: a job, interview or radar match must be archived before it can be deleted.
FAQ
A remote Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.resumequick.app/mcp. It gives Claude, Codex and other MCP clients your real job-search context from ResumeQuick: resumes and their history, tracked jobs and their analyses, the matches your job radar found, mock interview results, offers, reminders and career notes. The assistant reads it instead of asking you to retype it, and can act on it.
Claude on the web and Claude Desktop add it as a custom connector, Claude Code and Codex with a command, ChatGPT as a developer-mode app on paid plans, Cursor with one mcp.json entry, OpenCode with a personal API key. Any other client that supports remote MCP over streamable HTTP works with the same URL: clients that support MCP sign-in open the ResumeQuick page, the rest send a personal API key.
The server is included on every ResumeQuick plan, the free one too. Actions that cost something in the app, like a resume rewrite or a job analysis, use the same plan limits there. Reading your own data is never limited. Your Claude or Codex subscription is separate.
It can edit and tailor resumes, analyze postings, steer the job search and set reminders. Deleting takes two steps: a job, interview or radar match has to be archived first. It cannot send messages or emails, and it cannot touch your password or account settings. Most clients show each action and ask you to approve it.
Open Settings → Extension & Claude and press Disconnect next to it under Connected apps. Within seconds the client can no longer reach your data. API keys are revoked on the same page.
